Bodegas Luzon signs an agreement with COFCO to exclusively distribute

Bodegas Luzon has signed a partnership exclusivity agreement wih the multinational COFCO Food Sales & Distribution, National Oil Corporation, Food an Grain China, the largest company in production, processing and sale of food in China, to distribute their wines in the country Asia.

Bodegas Luzon is the first winery in Spain that manages to sign such an agreement with China’s state owned distributor, which will distribute its wines in more than 2.000 points of sales. Wines made from Luzon are solely marketed by COFCO from the DO Jumilla. It is a framework agreement for ten years, in which the first three are mainly brand positioning.

The goal is for Bodegas Luzon in one of the three most recognized brands Spanish wine in China.

Bodegas Luzon continues to this contract in the footsteps of the Australian winery McGuigan, whose owner has been named the best winemaker in the world three times by the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC). In France, COFCO has signed an agreement with Michelle Roland, owner of known wineries in Bordeaux.
