Our care
Vine care is one of our obsessions. Our vineyards are treated in a sustainable way, with responsible pruning and caring for the plants using techniques based on sustainability and respect for the biodiversity that surrounds our vineyards.
For us, the production of our wines begins with the pruning, which we carry out in mid-February and which marks the wine cycle. For Bodegas Luzón, choosing the optimal harvest time is an obsession. We harvest by hand and transport the grapes either in 150kg pallets adapted to European regulations or in small boxes to keep the fruit in the best conditions.
Heirs of our homeland
Bodegas Luzon is a winery of the Jumilla Denomination of Origin, a Spanish D.O.P. located between the provinces of Murcia and Albacete, has been considered by specialized media as an emerging denomination of origin for the quality and originality of its wines.
Since 1966, the D.O.P Jumilla. has become one of the oldest Denominations of Origin in Spain, within an area comprising some 22,700 hectares and some 1,800 registered winegrowers, with Bodegas Luzón being one of its oldest members.
