We join in celebrating ‘Wine in Moderation Day’

This 8 November marks the first ‘Wine in Moderation Day’, a global campaign organised by the Wine in Moderation Association that aims to promote responsible and moderate wine consumption around the world. Under the slogan ‘Choose, Share, Care’, this initiative seeks to engage consumers in the culture and history of wine, encouraging them to enjoy this beverage sensibly.

In this first edition, the campaign is being carried out in three pilot countries, Italy, Spain and Portugal, with the collaboration of their national coordinators, in which all members and partners of Wine in Moderation are invited to promote concrete actions and activations to spread the message of responsible wine consumption.

The slogan chosen for 2023 is ‘The best wine? The one you can remember’, highlighting the importance of moderation in wine consumption, which we at Bodegas Luzón have always advocated. Through this slogan, we seek to convey that each glass of wine contains a rich culture that deserves to be discovered and appreciated, but always in moderation and moderation, involving consumers in the culture and history of wine along with the slogan ‘Choose, Share, Care’, the basis of the Wine in Moderation movement.

The campaign focuses on the idea that wine culture means knowing how to say no to excess and turning every occasion into a memorable moment. It promotes the appreciation of wine sip by sip, without haste or excess, promoting the idea that ‘a great taste is forever’.

In the social media, the participants in the campaign have spread the word about the importance of enjoying wine in moderation and that alcohol consumption should be avoided in cases of pregnancy, by minors, by people taking medication incompatible with alcohol and if they have to drive or operate heavy machinery.
