Bodegas Luzón is one of the oldest wineries in D.O.P Jumilla, the land of the Monastrell, a variety that defines us and that we care for by combining the tradition of our legacy with the passion for innovation and respect for the environment, all together to obtain wines that reflect our commitment for the land where we were born.

Winegrowers since the 19th century

Our history begins in the far-east land of Luzon, the largest island of the Philippine archipelago, from where our founder Don Jose Molina, took the road back to his native Jumilla after graduating in 1814 in the Spanish Navy Royal Armies. Since then, we have been pioneers in many aspects, such as being a winery run by the women of the founding family until almost the end of the 20th century.

Our Vineyards

At Bodegas Luzon we currently have about 500 hectares of vineyards at an altitude between 450 and 600 meters above sea level, with soil and climate variability that allow us to work not only with our Monastrell but also with other varieties such as Garnacha Tintorera, Viognier or Sauvignon Blanc among others.

Our Wines

Bodegas Luzón is the Monastrell (also known as ‘Mourvedre’ in some other places in the world). The Monastrell in all its expressions, versions and with its nuances. Most of our wines are pure Monastrell, but let us surprise you with other varieties
